PRAGUE, Czech Republic and TAMPA, Fla. (March 16, 2023) – Sense Arena, the world leader in cognitive virtual reality tennis and ice hockey training, today announced a slate of new VR tennis features, highlighted by the integration of true-to-life serves from ATP and WTA pro players Jack Sock and Linda Fruhvirtova.

Filmed in real life and transferred into digital form, Sock and Fruhvirtova’s serves allow Sense Arena users to visualize, process and react to the real speed and ball rotation on serves from pro players. This new groundbreaking feature will allow tennis players of all ages and abilities to enhance their training and improve their game by returning serves from two of the best players in the world.

“Jack and Linda are two of the best players in the game and we’re excited to unveil this innovative integration that will help Sense Arena users enhance their training,” said Sense Arena Vice President of Tennis Yannick Yoshizawa. “To reach the highest possible level of tennis you have to be able to return a great serve and this development provides everyone with the unique chance to face high caliber serves from elite, professional players.”

“Sense Arena is doing incredible things to help grow and develop the game of tennis,” said Sock. “I’m thrilled to have the chance to help so many players around the world improve their anticipation and reaction skills trying to return my serve in VR!”

“I am constantly working to improve all aspects of my game, both mental and physical, and over the last year I feel I have made great strides in my return of serve,” said Fruhvirtova. “Sense Arena has helped me hone my anticipation and reaction skills, allowing me to maximize my ability to return opponents’ serves and I am confident that integrating my own serve into the technology will help others do the same.”

In addition to its new serving technology, Sense Arena also announced the creation of a new personalized training plan designed by WTA pro Jennifer Brady, who has been utilizing Sense Arena as a part of her injury rehab and recovery process. Brady’s training plan joins Sense Arena’s lineup of personal training programs curated by Sense Arena global ambassador and International Tennis Hall of Famer Martina Navratilova, and former ATP pros Claudio Pistolesi and Pavel Vizner.

Sense Arena and Brady will officially showcase the new training program at the Break the Love x Lillet Women’s Sports Panel to be held on March 19 at Esmé Miami Beach prior to the start of the 2023 Miami Open.

Sense Arena for Tennis, which launched in November 2022, is used by Navratilova, as well as some of today’s top pro players including Brady, Sock, Brenda and Linda Fruhvirtova, Marie Bouzkova, Miomir Kecmanovic, Emil Ruusuvuori, Liudmila Samsonova, Daria Saville, Luisa Stefani and more. The technology is also used by the University of South Florida men’s and women’s tennis teams, as well as the Junior Tennis Champions Center (College Park, Md.) and the SVB Tennis Academy (Zephyrhills, Fla.)
