Ferrer wins Vienna title; Cilic takes Moscow crown; Berdych captures third Stockholm trophy

Top seed David Ferrer captured his fifth title of 2015 on Sunday in Vienna, Austria, defeating Steve Johnson 4-6, 6-4, 7-5. Overcoming 11 aces and an overall strong performance by his American opponent, Ferrer needed two hours and 14 minutes to claim his 26th career title. Ferrer, who is tied for seventh place in the road to London with Kei Nishikori, will next play in his home event in Valencia, Spain. Johnson, who was competing in his first career final, will move up to No. 33 in the world on Monday.

Kremlin Cup by Bank of Moscow—Moscow, Russia

Former US Open winner and No. 1 seed Marin Cilic completed a dominating week of action in Moscow, Russia on Sunday, dismissing second ranked Spaniard Roberto Bautista Agut 6-4, 6-4 to claim his 14th career title. Winning 75 percent of his first serve points, Cilic broke serve on two occasions and never conceded his own delivery. Improving to 2-0 against Bautista Agut in lifetime meetings, Cilic will next see action at the Basel Swiss Indoors in Switzerland.

If Stockholm Open—Stockholm, Sweden

Defending champion Tomas Berdych used his power and poise on Sunday to claim the 12th title of his career in Stockholm, Sweden, ousting American Jack Sock, 7-6(1), 6-2. Slamming nine aces and losing only three points on his first serve, Berdych improved to 55-18 on the season. Having already qualified for the ATP World Tour final in London, Berdych will next see action at the Paris Masters in France. Sock, who was searching for his second title of the season, later teamed up with Nicolas Monroe to win the doubles title.
